AIM Support - (Site Map) AIM > AIM in Compact Mode >  > AIM requires that the reference number use to identify accident records be unique.

 

When creating records the next available accident reference number my not be to hand.  In this case the program provides a way of generating a unique reference number for you.

 

 

Click on the asterisk bring up the  option to accept the unique number offered.

 

 

You may also wish to change an existing unique number, in this example CR13011.

 

 

Before committing changes you are offered the opportunity to cancel.

 

 

You just need to check which unique numbers you have used, or what was the last unique number you allocated.

 

 

Clicking on the 'Used Ref No' button bring up a list of all used unique numbers used.
