Comparison between Old to New Hazardous Symbol
The red diamond symbols officially replaced the orange symbols on the 1st of June 2017. After this date no products containing to old CHIP warning symbols can be sold. (Orange squares with black warning symbol)
Approximate comparison between Old to New Hazardous Symbol.
Hazard: Explosive

GHS01 Explosive: May explode as a consequence of fire, heat, shock or friction. Chemicals with this label should be kept away from potential ignition sources. |
Hazard: Flammable

GHS02 Flammable: Flammable when exposed to heat, fire or sparks, or give off flammable gases when reacting with water. Ignition sources should be avoided. |
Hazard: Oxidising

GHS03 Oxidizing: Burns even in the absence of air, and can intensify fires in combustible materials. Should be kept away from ignition sources. |
