Inputting First Records
Whilst there is no specific order to enter data support data, it will make inputting records easier and more efficient if tables such as grades, teams, locations etc, are populated first. That said, many for the support data can be entered on-the-fly.
Suggested entry order:
Populate the locations table
Populate the Grades table
Populate the Teams table
After these three tables are populated it will make entering staff details much more efficient.
Populate the Staff Details table
Populate the Manager / Supervisors table
The managers and supervisors table should be completed after the staff details as employees that exist in the staff details table will be managers, supervisors etc and can therefore be entered by selecting their name from the 'name' drop-down box.
