I bring to On Safe Lines a Master of Science degree in Occupational & Environmental Health & Safety Management, from the University of Portsmouth.

 

On Safe Lines was founded in 2003 to provide Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental support and affordable business software solutions.  In Aug 2020 the business model reverted from Ltd status to sole-trader after the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic meant hard decisions needed to be made to enable On Safe Lines software to remain available to new and existing users. Software released from Aug 2020 by On Safe Lines is now categorised as FREEWARE.

 

As well as my academic qualifications, I bring a vast amount of vocational experience and expertise to the company having worked within an industrial environment since finishing my engineering apprenticeship in the early 1980s. Various hands-on, technical, managerial and consultancy roles have seen me gain over 25 years experience in Quality and Health and Safety Management Systems. More recently, as environmental concerns have gained increasing prominence on company agendas, I have developed my resume to include Environmental Management Systems.

 

As a safety and health professional, I hold Chartered Membership with the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH)

TIRA (One Stop Shop for Company Health and Safety Risk Assessment Management)

 

TIRA stands for Task Inventory and Risk Assessments and is a comprehensive risk management and analysis program, designed to be used by both the safety professional and those with part time safety responsibilities.  TIRA will aid companies with meeting their 45001:2018 responsibilities.

AIM (Manage Employee Accidents at Work)

 

AIM stands for Accident Investigation and Management system and is a comprehensive accident, incident and near-miss management and analysis program, designed to be used by both the safety professional and those with part time safety  responsibilities.

DICS (Manage your Documented Information)

 

DICS stands for Documented Information Control System and is a comprehensive computer program designed specifically for the management of company controlled information. DICS is intended to be used by those Quality, Health and Safety or Environmental professionals with responsibilities for the issuing, updating and removal of controlled information.

Staff training and records system software program and is a comprehensive employee staff training management program.

 

STARS allows organizations to manage staff historical, current and future training records efficiently and effectively.  STARS works on the principle that the training or responsible department will arrange courses and managers and supervisors will put forward staff to attend.

XP Users please note:  Our software will also work in Windows XP however, the user will need to perform some one time initial set-up routines which are managed automatically in later operating systems, this routine requires the user to locate their data containing files using the built-in semi-automated re-linking routine.
